Accept Now
Watching the stars, man
Sitting all alone
The fire's already gone
Where are you now?
Is it the moon, now
Come on, let me in
I really want to give
My heart to you
When all the reasons gone
You don't need to be alone
Take my hand and see what happens
We might make it all the way
We might not go anywhere
But shall we try?
Last time I saw you
You weren't really there
Pretending you know where
Were you with her?
Why do I cry still
When my life is really good
Thinking of you should
Be far away
When all the reasons gone
You don't need to be alone
Take my hand and see what happens
We might take it all the way
We might not go anywhere
But shall we try?
Time to accept now
You are no longer mine
And you're doing fine
You let me go
Hard to admit but
You are in better hands
Your heart is balanced and
I'm happy too
When all the reasons gone
I am not alone
You took my hand and look what happened
You tried to go my way
But your heart wasn't there
I needed more

A Dance With My Daughter
She came from my body,
From my body she nursed.
I gave her life,
And my life she took.
Took over my bed, my pillow, my sleep
She repairs it with sweet smile,
an innosent look, a hand on my cheek.
It’s a battle of a dance,
She steps on my toe.
I want to confess,
To my deepest wrongs.
This is what I wanted,
What all I wished for
Now I have to let go
Of being all in control.
She feels every movement,
She knows I’m not there,
She steps even harder,
On that toe that hurts.
I really need to go
I’m bleeding, you see.
But she comes first,
SHE needs a good sleep.
Tears coming out,
She can feel what I feel
Her sensitivity towards me,
Can kill and can heal.
I’m holding on just so
she won’t start to cry,
It’s a battle of a dance,
But I really don’t mind.
So she took my life, my pillow, my bed,
And I’m here to give her everything else.
I’m here to learn her dance and she's mine
And one day when she bleeds, I’ll be fine.
Crying laugh, laughing cry,
Sorrow and happiness
She is what I wanted,
So I can’t complain.
This dance has a twirl,
And will have till the end.
One dance she’ll get off my toe,
And she’ll sleep all night.
But till then I’ll keep her close,
Even if it’s tight.

The Point
We went to sleep too early
And we got up too late
We found ourselves just eating
When it was not even eight
We were stuck in the mud in the morning
We were splashed by a wave in the evening
And no one even care that we were missing
The Point
We were at The Point
We were missing
The point
We were chased by pigs for dinner
And ran into a boat
that wasn not in the water
But we found a dirty coat
of someone from the old days
When Hippies were around
And no one saw we were missing
We weren’t on the ground
Of The Point
We were missing
The point
Half of the village is sleeping
The Point
Now what a mission that was
Just can’t put my mind to it
We were dragged to sweet home
By an old McDonald and the Maori
We were put straight into the bathtub
And had fish smell coming out of our ears
But no one even dare to care
That we were not missing
The point
Never go again to The Point
We were missing
The Point
While it wasn’t even eight
We were tucked well in bed
I’ll tale you a journey
Of somebody else…
That wasn’t even living here
When it all happened
But no one else were missing
Till we got there
At The Point
We were missing
The point
No one even care that we were missing
The Point.
